Rules

For full format rules, read the – format! Down below are listed in-game rules for Season 1!

Group Stage:

  • The group stage format will consist of private Pro-Am matchups only.
  • Each team will play against everyone from their country twice during the group stage!
  • Country tours will have a regular season / group stage format only.
  • All season games will be played using EU servers.
  • Each player may only play on one team at a time.
  • Each season 1 team are given a personalised schedule which needs to be followed. If teams have difficulties scheduling their games, they will be allowed to reschedule games for April 14, 15, or 16 without receiving forfeit losses, but the team captain must write in the group chat and let our admins know.

Stream Regulations:

  • All teams must have the new IES logo on the court.
  • Teams are required to prominently display the competition’s name and logo while streaming.
  • The competition’s and opponents’ names should be visible in the stream.

Tiebreaker:

  • The head-to-head record will be used to break a tie. The winner of the head-to-head matchup is used to break the tie.
  • If three or more teams have the same amount of wins, a point differential will be used to break the tie. The team with the best overall point differential will break the tie.

Code of Conduct:

  • All players and staff are expected to respect others, play fairly, display sportsmanship, ensure player safety, and communicate effectively.
  • Cheating, hacking, and exploiting loopholes in the rules are strictly prohibited. Players engaging in such activities may face suspension or a ban from upcoming seasons.

Scheduling, Lagging Out and Quitting:

  • After scheduling a game, teams must join the game within 15 minutes. If FF happens because the team not appearing at the scheduled game time, the other team recieve 30 points win!
  • If a lag out occurs in the last quarter and the spread is more than 15 points, it is an automatic win for the opposing team.
  • If a lag out occurs in the third quarter or the spread is less than 15 points, the team will have 10 minutes to restart their PS5 or internet connection. If the player who is having problems is not ready within the allotted time, the team will be given a chance to make a substitution. However, the substitute must already be from the registered roster of the team. It is strictly not allowed if the substitute is not on the roster.
  • If the opponent’s team player gets ‘graded out’ or ‘fouled out’ – teams must continue until the end of the game playing with AI or quit the game and give the opponents the win.

Logos teams can use for graphics and 2K court!
