Get ready for some exciting European e-basketball action as the IES Season 1 Country Tours kickoffs from April 1st! If you’re a user of European NBA 2K23 PS5 servers, this is your chance to showcase your skills and compete against the toughest teams in your region for a 3000 eur prize pot for entry of 12 eur €9.60 eur per player for everything that Season 1 brings. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming competition before you sign up!

How Season 1 will be played?

  • The first edition of the Season 1 is – Country Tours! Which will be played from April 1 until April 14 using BO2 format!
  • The second edition of the Season 1 is – Qualification and Under League! It will be played from April 17 until April 30 using BO2 format and teams will be split into one of the following competitions based on their results from the first edition of the season named Country Tours.
  • The third and last part of the Season 1 is – the Eurostars League! It will be played from May 1 in BO3 format and only the best 16 European 2K server teams will play in there!

What is the first edition of the season named – Country Tours?

  • The IES Season 1 Country Tours will be the first edition of each upcoming IES season! It will consist of country competitions happening simultaneously, each featuring teams from a specific region, with the fifth competition being for the remaining teams of Europe – Tour of Europe 🇪🇺.
  • The Season 1 Country Tours will be for countries such as – France 🇫🇷, Germany 🇩🇪 and Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 will have their own country tours! Italy 🇮🇹 Spain 🇪🇸 and Portugal 🇵🇹 will form one country tour together named the South Tour!
  • The country tour results will be used to determine the best-performing teams from each region using the BO2 format where everyone plays everyone from their respective country.
  • To participate in Country Tours, organisations 2K team need to be located in that country or three players from a team need to speak or live in the same country!

How teams will be split into Qualification, Under League and/or Eurostars League?

  • Seven teams, each 1st seed from country tours, will proceed to the third part of the season right away named Eurostars League where they will play for the prize of 2000 eur!
  • The 2nd and 3rd place from each country tour will play in Qualification where from 14 teams 8 will make it to the Eurostars League.
  • The 4th place and lower from each country tour will advance to the Under League where they will play for their own prize pot worth 500 eur and one winning team will get the final spot at the Eurostars League.
  • Eurost⭐rs League have 16 spots – 5 teams come from 1st places from Country Tours, 8 teams come from Qualification and 3 teams comes from Under League.

How do the competitions work?

  • The team registers and buy-ins for Season 1 for €9.60 per player! They will be charged 0.00 eur for the remaining additions of the season! Meaning by one buy-in teams can experience one of these 5 options based on their performance:
    Option 1) Country Tour -> Eurostars League
    Option 2) Country Tour -> Qualification -> Eurostars League
    Option 3) Country Tour -> Under League -> Eurostars League
    Option 4) Country Tour -> Qualification
    Option 5) Country Tour -> Under League
  • To only way to enter the final part of the season, the Eurostars League is by Option 1, 2 or 3!

What is the second edition of the season named – Qualification and Under League?

  • All teams which performed well and made 2nd or 3rd place in their country tour will enter Qualification! Teams which finished 4th or lower position from their country tour will enter the Under League.
  • In Qualification, eight teams will make the Eurostars League! Teams will be split into two groups of 7 teams each and after playing 6 BO2 matchups the best 4 teams from each group (8 teams total) will make the Eurostars League.
  • The teams that finish in the fourth position or lower will play in at a competition of their own named Under League where they will play BO2 matches against their opponents. This competition will be played simultaneously with Qualification, and in it, the teams will play for their own cash prize valued at over 500 eur cash with the best team getting an additional prize – the last spot at the Eurostars League competition!

What are the prizes?

  • The winner of each country tour will secure a spot in the Eurostars League! The winners will walk away with a key 🗝️ value of over 2000 euros in cash prizes! In the Eurostars League, games will be played in a single-elimination BO3 format.
  • For Season 1, over 3000 euros in cash prizes will be given away, along with sponsor prizes valued at over 1000 euros. Season 2’s prize value is already set at over 5000 euros, with more country tours to be added, such as the Tour of the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 and Tour of Greece 🇬🇷 and others!
  • If your team didn’t reach the top three in your respective country tour, you will fight for prizes in the Under League (valued over 500 euros and with one spot at the Eurostars League)!
  • The player statistics will be monitored, and each country tour’s best-performing players (MVP’s) will receive prizes from our sponsors valued over 500 eur.
